Create Art Conditions
October 10, 2025Art Conditions are used on the Write Orders page to document the artwork’s current blemishes or marks, such as Cracking or Abrasions. Your LifeSaver Software System has default Art Conditions. In this topic you will learn how to add new art conditions, as well as how to deactivate and reactivate the default conditions as you see fit.

On the Home page, click the Art Conditions button to open the Art Conditions page.

- Create New – Click this button to create a new art condition. This will open the Create Art Condition page, shown below, where you can enter the Name of the new condition as well as a Description. Click the Create button to add it to your list of art conditions or click the Back to List button to cancel your changes.

- Show Deactivated Art Conditions – Check this option if you want the Art Conditions table to display the deactivated conditions as well as the active ones.
- Art Conditions Table – This table displays all of the art conditions you have set up in your system.
- Deactivate – Click this button to deactivate the art condition. Deactivating an art condition will hide it when creating new work orders.
- Edit – Click this button to edit the art condition. Clicking this will take you to the Art Condition Details page. From there you can click the Edit button to make changes on the Edit Art Condition page or click Back to List to return to the Art Conditions page.

Important Note: Only custom Art Conditions can be edited. The default Art Conditions from the system are not editable.

Q: Can I select multiple Art Conditions for the same piece?
A: Yes. If a piece has more than one condition, you can click each condition on the Write Order page.
Q: Will deactivating an Art Condition remove it from past orders?
A: No, Deactivation only hides the condition for new orders and does not affect past entries. You can reactivate it at any time.
