Working With FrameVue Devices

The FrameVue feature in LifeSaver Software Software allows you to take a picture of a customer’s artwork and use FrameVue to show them different custom framing options. This is a great way to help your customers visualize what their finished project might look like. Read on to see how easy it is to set up FrameVue Devices and provide a more convenient, modern experience for your customers.

You can click on the FrameVue Devices button on the LifeSaver Software Home page to get started.

 

Setting Up FrameVue Devices

When you enable FrameVue Devices, your customers can then bring in their art and have it photographed by your employees with the FrameVue app. Follow the steps below to set up FrameVue:

  • Verify Admin Privileges  
    • Log in to LifeSaver Software with an account that has Store Admin privileges. If you aren’t sure or need information on assigning permissions click here. LINK: Working with Users 
  • Obtain Your Store Credentials
    • On the Home page, click the FrameVue Devices button to take you to the Art Cloud Devices page.
    • Enter in the desired Device Name into the field, then click the Create button to get your Device Token for linking devices.

  • Enable Device Linking
    • On the Settings tab of the Store Configuration page, check the Enable FrameVue box and click the Save button to save your changes.

  • Confirm App Connection  
    • When first opening the FrameVue app, it will prompt you for the token. 
    • Once the token is entered, you can now send art images. 

 

Working with FrameVue

  • Upload Images in a Work Order 
    • On your LifeSaver Software Home page, click on the Write Work Orders button and then click the Upload Image button.

    • Click on the FrameVue App button to start mocking up the custom order. retrieve a customer’s photo for visualization.

    • Proceed with your usual custom framing design steps.

Q: What if I do not see the FrameVue checkbox on the Store Configuration page?  

A: You should contact LifeSaver Software Support to enable FrameVue on your account.  

 

Q: Does each device need a separate login?  

A: Typically, you only need to enter your store’s FrameVue credentials once. Customers then select your store from the FrameVue App to send photos.
